Design Brief : Vanishing Livelihoods : Then Seen and Unseen - Bringing into perspective the ‘unseen’ aspect of the food vending livelihood through the stories of the momo vendor and Paani Puri vendor to their their customers fostering a more meaningful dialogue between them. The everyday struggles on the street and the migrant worker crisis that occurred during Pandemic are emphasized in the story. Primary research through semi formal interviews as well as secondary research of visual languages from the origins of street food vendor's culture has contributed in building a story presented in a silent comic book. Below is a preview of a few pages of the comic and some process sketches.

Luminati Roasters
Project Brief : Building a Brand and packaging around Tea or Coffee. The theme chosen is ' The illuminati' which was a secret society that believed in rational thought and enlightened ideals. They used symbolism of the eye and triangle and communicated in ciphers in order to maintain their secrecy. Idea : A premium coffee brand based on the theme of the illuminati which uses the symbolism and adds a cipher element to the concept in the packaging. The variants differ in their roasts and are made out of grounding three different types of coffee beans. The flavors infused in the coffee remains a mystery to the consumer. The user can figure out the flavor as well as a secret message that continues through the three flavors by deciphering the symbols on the packaging.

Japanese Lofi Album Art
Based on the genre of Japanese Lo-fi music, the concepts explored were ‘Japanese’ and the nature of lo-fi(prolonged repetition). Hand drawn Illustrations were edited on Photoshop to create the final piece. In the process, a bit of handwritten Japanese typography (Kanji) was also explored to create this hypothetical album art.
